The Fort Dale Termites were dealt their first loss of the season 28-14 Tuesday night at Morgan.

“We just made too many mistakes,” said head coach Keith Taylor.

Luke Taylor scored on touchdown runs of 70 and 21 yards, and Bryan Folds added a two-point conversion.

The game was tied 6-6 at the end of the first quarter, but Morgan added two scores in the second quarter – one coming seconds before halftime.

Despite a touchdown in the second half, Fort Dale couldn’t close the gap.

Braxton Daniels and Sawyer Hennis led the team in tackles.

FDA will return home to play Monroe Academy next Tuesday.
