Wanda Kervin

Wanda N. Kervin, 65, a resident of Prattville, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 after a brief illness.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 12, 2008 from the chapel of Prattville Memorial, with the Rev. J.B. Burt officiating.
Burial followed at Prattville Memory Gardens with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing.
Mrs. Kervin was an affectionate wife, mother and grandmother, who devoted her life to the loving care of her family.
Mrs. Kervin was a native of Georgiana who graduated from Georgiana High School in 1961, and then followed a career with the State of Alabama Department of Transportation for over 18 years.
Mrs. Kervin was a dedicated member of the New Vision Baptist Church. She as preceded in death by her parents, William and Eula Nichols.
She is survived by: her beloved husband of 46 years, Charles L. Kervin; one son, Chris (Kim) Kervin; one daughter, LeAnn (Jerry) Barr; six grandchildren, Katelyn, Matthew, Lillianna, Maggie, Mylee and Levi; one brother, Donald (Brenda) Nichols; one special friend, Lisa Kervin, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. Active pallbearers were Jimmy Nichols, Scot Escaravage, Paul Higgins, Phillip Stewart, Gene McDaniel and Tim Cartwright. Honorary pallbearers were the New Vision Baptist Church Sunday School Class II.
