Bobby Alvin Turner, 75, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2012 in Mobile, Ala.
He was born on Sept. 11, 1936 in Luverne, Crenshaw County, Ala., and grew up in the Honoraville community. Mobile became his home in 1957.

He was employed as a Lineman with Alabama Power Company and retired with 35 years of service.

One of Bobby’s joys was time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. A highlight in his life was being at his farm in Crenshaw County fishing, gardening, bird watching and visiting with neighbors and childhood friends who dropped by.
He was never happier than when sharing his special place with his Allegro buddies. Bobby was an avid Alabama Football fan, traveling thousands of miles from coast to coast in his RV to many stadiums to watch Alabama play football. He and his wife enjoyed traveling in their RV and had been to all 50 states.
Bobby possessed many God-given talents and excelled in whatever he did. Friends and family called on him to fix, build, repair or invent better ways of doing things, and Bobby welcomed the challenge.
Helping other was a way of life for him, and he strived to do something for others each day.
