Michael “Mike” Morris, age 60, a resident of Greenville, died on September 9, 2009. Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, September 11, at 2 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery in Greenville with Rev. Tommy Bowman officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Wayne Boswell, Conrad Phillips, Ronald Shanks, Jimmy Gardner, Mike Walters, Marvin Holladay, and Tony Holladay.
Mr. Morris is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth “Becky” Morris, daughter, Jennifer Morris (Phillip) Griffiths of England, son, John Michael Morris of Birmingham, and many, many friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Mr. Morris to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
