Carnival Cruise Lines, known as "the most popular cruise line in the world", recently announced that Abracadabra Cruises had been chosen as Carnival's Agency of the Year for 2000.
This was great news to Bob Foster, owner and operator of Travel Bob, located within McFerrin's Jewelry on Commerce Street in Greenville.
"Our agency is directly connected with Abracadabra, the 29th largest cruise agency in the world," explained Foster, who added, "we beat out over 20,000 other agencies to win this award-that is pretty amazing."
Abracadabra was lauded by Carnival Cruise Line President Bob Dickinson for "consistent enthusiastic support" and "terrific sales ability" along with "professional deportment and . . . keen sense of cooperation."
"We are excited not only about this award, but also the tremendous opportunities that being affiliated with a prestigious company like Abracadabra brings to our customers," said Foster.
"Even though we're "small town", we are still able to offer the kind of great savings on travel you ordinarily find only in major metropolitan areas like Atlanta," he added.
