Remembering Sissy

Students and faculty at CCA remembered and honored the late Sissy Smyth, who passed away earlier this year after her courageous battle with breast cancer.
On Monday, the students made pink lemonade and pink sweets for everyone, and dressed in pink.
The faculty and students came out to “Think Pink” and show support for October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Above, they formed the now-famous pink ribbon that is synonymous with the cause.
CCA students also wrote notes of love to “Miss Sissy” and placed them in balloons before holding a pink balloon release.
