Local artists plan spring show

Talented artists from across the area are currently organizing an extensive show and sale of their art, crafts and photography for a special two-week exhibit in April.
The Fine Arts League (FAL) is sponsoring this event, scheduled for April 7 through April 21 in the former Greenville Ford location on Commerce St. in uptown Greenville.
The show is slated to kick off at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 7 with a number of the featured artists on hand to welcome guests and answer questions about their work.
Refreshments also will be served.
The show will be open from 11 a.m to 5 p.m. on weekdays, closed on Wednesdays, an dopen again from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.
The show will close at 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 21.
Special hands-on art demonstrations and other surprises will be featured each Sunday afternoon and there will be FAL members available at each showing to assist visitors.
Local business people, church groups, clubs, classes, and any and all interested in exploring the artistic best' of the best small town in America' are encouraged to make plans to attend this exhibit.
