Adrian Rich scored 24 points to help power Georgiana School to a 72-61 win against Brantley High School Friday night at the Class 1A, Area 3 tournament in Beatrice.

Rodney Cheatham and Keon Binion each scored 16 points and Rickey Everett scored 10 points for the Panthers (21-7).

The Bulldogs (19-11) were led by Chester Person’s 18 points. OJ Guice and Matthew Holmes each scored 11 points.

The Panthers will take on host J.F. Shields High School tonight at 6 p.m. in the championship game.
