Greenville Main Street brings Oktoberfest to town Saturday event from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Confederate Memorial Park. According to the weather forecasters, it should not be a repeat of last year’s torrential rain, which sent participants scurrying to the Kiwanis Fairground Exhibition Hall.

The forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies with winds from the south-southeast with thunderstorms arriving late Saturday night.
