FDA rally falls short

Fort Dale struggled for three periods allowing Glenwood to runaway with a win 38-27 Friday.
Fort Dale got off to a sluggish start in the contest, managing just four points in the first period.
The Lady Eagles did gain momentum in the fourth period, outscoring the Lady Gators 10-4, but the rally proved to be too little too late.
The top scorer for Fort Dale was Mary Sanford Perdue with nine points.
Anne Matthews had seven assists, seven rebounds and four steals and Theresa Scott, Caroline Snellgrove and Nedra Toulmin Crosby each had six rebounds.
Fort Dale connected just on 11-of- 43 attempts from the field in the loss. The Lady Eagles are now 10-10 with 5-1 area record.
