GARNER, Mr. Gary Gene, 74, a resident of Brantley died Monday December 12, 2011.

A memorial service will be 11 am Thursday December 15, 2011 from the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Defee officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mr. Garner is preceded in death by his parents, Erby and Ersie Mills Garner and two brothers, Bobby Garner and Billy Garner.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Joyce Fowler Garner; three sons, Gary (Amy) Garner, Phillip (Peggy) Garner and Tim (Joannie) Garner; seven grandchildren, Tyler Garner, Jill (Jeremy) Gaines, Brittany Ann Garner, Seth Garner, Josie Garner, Kerri Griffin and Tyler Griffin; and one great grandchild, Gracie Gaines.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 10 am until service time.
