Obituary: MSGT Richard L. Brown, USAF (Ret.)

BROWN, MSGT Richard L., USAF Retired, 80, a resident of Wetumpka died Saturday November 26, 2011.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 2 pm Saturday December 3, 2011 at Pleasant Home Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.
Mr. Brown is originally from Crooksville, Ohio and moved to Alabama after his retirement in 1972. He served his country in the Korean War and retired with 23 ½ years of service. He was the most loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Mr. Brown is preceded in death by his wife, Lillie M. Brown; son, Richard Myron Brown; granddaughter, Cyndi Hayes; great grandson, Tyler Hayes; and his parents, Myron and Daisy Turner Brown.
Survivors include six children, Cindy Perkins, Janet (Keith) Hayes, Martha (David) Lancaster, Patricia (Steve) Bilyeu, Karen (Rod) Fields and Robert (Beverly) Brown; ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Military honors will be presented at the gravesite.
Family and friends will meet at the cemetery Saturday.
