GREENVILLE- Mrs. Naomi Cox Gibson, 85, of Greenville, died Tuesday, June 7, 2005, at L.V. Stabler Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2005 at 10 a.m. from the Dunklin-Herndon Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Lizenby officiating.

Burial will follow in Spring Hill Methodist Church Cemetery with Dunklin-Herndon Funeral Home directing.

She is survived by two sons, Donald J. (Carolyn) Gibson, of Montgomery and Gene C. (Gale) Gibson, of Greenville; three grandchildren, Angela Carolyn (Kenneth) Jones, of Columbiana, Shirley G. (Howard) Land, of Newnan and Sandra G. (Jon) Medley, of Greenville; seven grandchildren, Tucker Holley, Elijah Paul Jones, Trey Freeland, Aden Freeland, Drew Freeland, Alex Medley, Kristen Medley, her sister, Lucy Sanders of Pace, Fla., and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family requests that donation be made to the Spring Hill Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, C/O Sara G. Jones, 5515 N. Mount Zion Road, Honoraville, AL 36042.

The family will receive friends at Dunklin Herndon Funeral Home from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
