Dustin Allen Till, a high school senior at Fort Dale Academy, recently was selected as a recipient of a 2010 Alabama Dixie Boys and Majors Baseball scholarship. The $1,500 award will help defray some of the initial cost of attending school. Dustin plans to attend Auburn University in the fall of 2010.

The scholarship application emphasizes the criteria of good citizenship, both school and community, and scholastic achievement. The only stipulation in the application is that the student has participated in the Dixie Boys Baseball, Inc. program at some time in the past.
