November 13
n Aarron Royce Baxter, 34, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
n Michael G. Simpson, 49, was arrested and charged with negotiating with a worthless negotiable.
n Melarine Marie Boggs, 26, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
The following reports were filed through the Butler County Sheriff's Office from November 7 to November 14:
November 7
n A report was filed on South Bethlehem Road in Greenville for third-degree burglary and first-degree theft. An unknown person(s) broke into a house and stole a safe and $3,000.
November 9
n A report was filed on Montgomery Road in Greenville for first-degree theft. A cordless skill saw, a saw charger and toolbox full of tools, all valued at $7,280, were stolen.
November 10
n A report was filed on Sandcut Road in Greenville for criminal trespassing. Two men on a four-wheeler drove into someone's yard and threatened the occupant.
November 11
n A report was filed at the Butler County Motorsports Park for harassment. A driver hit another driver while he was still in his car following a wreck during a race.
November 13
n A report was filed on Hank Williams Road in McKenzie for second-degree burglary and third-degree theft. An unsigned check for $1 was stolen out of a house.
n A report was filed at the Country Caf\u00E9 in McKenzie for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Two suspicious persons were stopped and found to have cocaine, a pipe and a box for marijuana.
November 14
n A report was filed on Pineapple Highway in Greenville for third-degree theft. A Dodge Durango drove off without paying for $39.66 in gas.
n A report was filed on Avant Loop in Georgiana for third-degree assault. A man came into a house, accused the occupant of stealing his tree stand and then began beating him.
n A report was filed on Owens Road in Greenville for third-degree burglary and second-degree theft. A .22 caliber handgun worth $300 and $600 in cash were stolen out of a house.
