The following arrests were made by the Butler County Sheriff#039;s Office from January 21 to January 24:

January 21
n Samara Deanne Gibson, 22, was arrested and charged with third-degree domestic violence-harassment.
n William Paul Gibson, 51, was arrested and charged with five counts of negotiating a worthless negotiable.
January 23
n Kamika Trena Simpson, 31, was arrested and charged with menacing.
January 24
n Antonio Jerome Tyson, 18, was arrested and charged with second-degree receiving stolen property.
n Clarence Steele, 52, was arrested and charged with two counts of negotiating a worthless negotiable.
The following reports were filed through the Butler County Sheriff's Office from January 8 to January 23:
January 8
n A report was filed on Pettibone Road in Greenville for unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle and second-degree theft. A pistol and clip, worth $440, were stolen from a vehicle.
January 20
n A report was filed on Rhodes Road in Greenville for harassing communications. A man called a residence nine times making threatening remarks.
January 21
n A report was filed on Booker Road in McKenzie for third-degree theft. Forty-five Lortabs were stolen from a residence.
n A report was filed on Poole Road in Greenville for third-degree harassment. A man with a pistol threatened to hit and kill a woman.
n A report was filed on Starlington Road in Georgiana for second-degree theft and unlawful breaking and entering. Someone broke into a vehicle and stole an amplifier, CD player, speaker box and speakers, all valued at $750.
January 22
n A report was filed on Highway 62 for lost property. A man riding a four-wheeler lost his LG cell phone.
n A report was filed on Old Stage Road in Greenville for first-degree identity theft. Someone in Arkansas obtained a credit card and ran up a large bill using a Butler County citizen's information.
January 23
n A report was filed on Dickens Field Road for second-degree theft. An air compressor was stolen from a residence.
n A report was filed on Crum Street in McKenzie for a suspected scam. A man received a check in the amount of a large sum and turned it into the Sheriff's Dept., believing it was a scam.
n A report was filed on Mobile Road in Greenville for a missing person. A man was last seen driving his company vehicle.
