Ryan Burkett lifts Red Sox past Yankees

Ryan Burkett hit an inside-the-park homerun Monday in the top of the seventh inning to lift the Red Sox to victory over the Yankees in Dixie Minors action, 8-7.
Although the Sox took a three-run lead in the top of the seventh, the Yankees rallied back to score two runs in the bottom half of the inning but fell just short by one run.
Offensively for the Sox (6-1), Burkett, Daniel Hall Autrey, Nick Hartley and Justice Taylor each had a hit. Autrey, Burkett and Wyatt Young each scored two runs while Colt Reeves and Nathan Looney each scored one.
For the Yankees (2-5), Donte Lee was 1-for-2 with an inside-the-park homerun and three runs scored, while Barrett Bush and Cole Davis were also each 1-for-2. Bush scored two runs while Cole Davis and Kurt Davis each scored one.
The Red Sox will return to action Monday as they take on the Orioles at 7:30 p.m. The Yankees will take on the Indians Monday at 6 p.m.
Braves 8, Orioles 4
Payton Frazier was 2-for-2 with a double and two runs scored Monday to help lift the Braves over the Orioles, 8-4.
Dalton Weeks and Anthony Dunbar also each had a hit for the Braves (6-2) while Weeks scored two runs and Dunbar, Draklin Scoggins, Samuel Harris and Price Jones each scored one run.
Offensively for the Orioles (2-5), JaQuan Lewis and Cody Harrell each had two hits, including a triple by Harrell in the first inning. Colby Booker, Chaz Vining, Austin Brown, Mark Bradley and Harrell also each scored a run for the Orioles.
The Braves will take on the Red Sox May 10 at 6 p.m., while the Orioles will take on the Red Sox Monday at 7:30 p.m.
Indians 9, Braves 2
Brandon Blackmon, Will Smith and Cody Parker had three hits apiece Friday as the Indians downed the Braves, 9-2.
Blackmon, Smith and Parker led the Indians (2-5) at the plate while Deaton Owens, Austin Till and Steiner Hamilton also each had a hit.
Blackmon and Tanner Pouncey each scored a pair of runs while Chardarrius Davison, Hamilton, Till, Parker and Smith each scored one.
For the Braves, Payton Frazier had two hits and scored a run and Zane Hall scored a run in the third inning.
Orioles 2, Yankees 1
Colby Booker and Cody Harrell each scored a run Friday, which proved to be enough as the Orioles held off the Yankees, 2-1.
Kenny Harden and Harrell had two hits apiece to lead the Orioles at the plate while Booker and JaQuan Lewis also each had a hit, including a triple by Booker in the fourth inning.
For the Yankees, Austin Vickery was 2-for-2 with a run scored, Donte Lee was 2-for-2 with a double and Hayden Davis was 1-for-2.
