Watson, Girdon Lowell, 86, a resident of Georgiana, died Monday, October 15, 2007. Funeral services were at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, October, 17, 2007 from Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Union Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing. Survivors include: wife, Myrtis H. Watson of Georgiana; daughters and sons-in-law, Lorraine and Don Boutwell of Greenville and Jane and Charles Black of Conyers, Ga.; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Phyllis Watson of Montgomery; sister, Mary Claire Sellers and Betty McGraw, both of Montgomery; brothers, James E. Watson of Georgiana and Gray Watson of Montgomery; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Union Cemetery Fund, 2669 Wesley Chapel Road, Georgiana AL 36033.
