Dozens of local ladies got a glimpse of the latest summer fashions, hair styles and makeup on Saturday night as the Phoenix Rebirth Fashion Show Fundraiser for Safe Harbor took place at Cambrian Ridge.
Sponsored by Phoenix Salon owner Kristi Bruton and Ryan Anderson, Greenville native and owner of the Treasure Chest boutique in Orange Beach, the event featured models showing off a selection of casual and dressy minis, maxis and more in vibrant colors and basic black and white. Merle Norman Studios of Greenville did the makeup for the majority of the models, with Bruton and her staff creating the coiffures.
Following the fashion show, guests were invited to go to the Phoenix for cocktails and a trunk show of fashions from the Treasure Chest offered at special prices.
Monies raised from the event will support Safe Harbor/ Children’s Advocacy Center, which serves children in Butler, Lowndes and Crenshaw counties who have been victims or witnesses of violence and abuse.
“This was a wonderful event and I so appreciate everyone working together to make it a success,” said Kathy Smyth, director of Safe Harbor.
