A new SERVPRO franchise opened up on May 23 in Greenville. SERVPRO specializes in fire and water damage cleanup and restoration.

Wesley and Micah Waddell decided to start the business in this area to serve the counties of Butler, Covington, Crenshaw and Pike. Previously the closest SERVPRO locations were in Montgomery and Dothan.

The Waddells come to Greenville from Calera, Ala. Both graduated from the University of Montevallo with degrees in social science. After college, Wesley worked at another SERVPRO franchise, while Micah worked in banking for 5 years before working for the Shelby County 4-H.

The Waddells have two children, Sawyer, 5, and Madelyn, 3.
