IMPASSABLE TRAVEL ADVISORY: Effective Jan. 21 at 11:30 a.m. all roads and bridges in Butler County should be considered IMPASSABLE until further notice.

The Butler County Commission alerted members of the general public advising through a social media post that when roads and bridges become impassable, all travel should be suspended or delayed.

Only emergency vehicles should travel on county roads and bridges until further notice.

The Butler County Sheriff’s Office issued this statement: “All roads in the county, including US Interstate Highway 65, are currently closed. In order to ensure the efficient clearing of existing accidents, residents are requested to avoid traveling on the roadways.”
