The Advocate newsroom seeks individuals willing to share what makes Thanksgiving meaningful to them. There are no requirements to meet. Instead, our newsroom hopes to share the beauty of tradition and the not-so-traditional and to highlight how giving thanks can look different, but still fit within the spirit of gratitude, togetherness and community so valued among small-town residents.

Is there a tradition your family observes as part of their Thanksgiving Day celebration? Do you typically work on the official holiday, but still express a spirit overflowing with thankfulness? What recipes have you and your family enjoyed for generations and which tasty treats have family members added through the years?
