Irene P. Cumbie, a resident of Greenville, passed away peacefully on Oct. 15, at the age of 93.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 19, beginning at 11 a.m. with Minister Nate Smith officiating and Dunklin Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 10 a.m. until service time.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie E. Parmer and Alma Craig Parmer; her husband, Robert Bernard Cumbie and brothers, Samuel Parmer and Billy Parmer.

She is survived by her daughters, Ellen Cumbie Lansdon (Allen) and Linda Cumbie Payne (Tom); son, Robert Michael Cumbie (Donna); grandchildren, Rachel Taylor Payne (Chris), Matthew Thomas Payne (Sonya), Laura Lansdon Smith (Nate), Ryan Allen Lansdon, Heather Cumbie Davis (Britt), Michael Gray Cumbie, Hunter Cumbie, Chloe Cumbie and Reagan Cumbie; sisters, Ruby Parmer, Mary Head and Frances Gardner; sister in law, Glinda Parmer and 14 great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
