* Each Wednesday night during the month of September at 6 p.m., Evangelist Johnny Jernigan will be teaching a H.O.P.E. Evangelism Outreach Class at First Assembly of God, 760 N. Conecuh Street in Greenville. These instructors will teach how to reach more people in the community in order to let them know that love never fails and there is always hope.

* First Baptist Church in Greenville will celebrate its 168th anniversary with a homecoming service Oct. 6 at 10 a.m. Following homecoming is a three-day revival beginning at 7 p.m., with guest speakers Daniel Wilson on Oct.7, Randy Harvill on Oct. 8 and Bishop Wiley Thornton, III, on Oct. 9.

* Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Greenville is hosting a Fall Frenzy Oct. 12 at 11 a.m followed by Family and Friends Day Sunday, Oct. 13 a 1:30 p.m. with guest speaker Chad Richardson.

* Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church in Greenville will present a Women’s Chuck Sneakers and Pearls Conference and Brunch themed “Better Together” Nov. 2 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Guest speaker will be pastor Katrina Roper Smith.
