Regional Medical Clinics of Central Alabama has welcomed Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) Brittany Sheffield to their Georgiana Clinic, located at 125 Church Street. Sheffield is now accepting new patients of all ages, often with same-day or next-day appointment availability.

“I’ve always wanted to be a nurse and work in the medical field, but watching other nurse practitioners really helped me decide to go in this direction,” said Sheffield. “I’m loving getting to know the patients and the community. This has been a great learning experience.”

Sheffield, a Georgiana native, is married with one child. After graduating from Georgiana High School in 2013, she attended Troy University, where she earned a Master’s of Science in Nursing with a concentration of nurse practitioner.

Sheffield focuses on delivering compassionate care aimed at helping patients live a healthier life. The clinic accepts most health insurance, Medicare and Medicaid.
