The Nashville-based 1980s cover band “Arrival” debuted in front of a Greenville audience Saturday, electrifying fans with rock ballads popular during the iconic decade, like Journey’s classics “Separate Ways.” and “Wheel in the Sky.” Originally slated for June 8, the concert was postponed due to a leak at the theater.
Sporting classic 80s attire, some fans took part in a costume contest, with five-year-old Iriz Williams emerging as the winner. Williams’s parents, Blair and Jason Williams, commented on social media afterward that the young fan said the drummer, Paul Herring. A Georgiana native, Herring said the concert was a special highlight for him, a bit like coming home.
