A portion of U.S. Interstate 65 has reopened after an early afternoon crash closed the right, northbound lane.
A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 1:44 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, caused a lane closure. The right northbound lane of Interstate 65 near the 110-mile marker in Butler County was blocked for what law enforcement anticipated to be “an undetermined amount of time.”
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division were on scene investigating and reported the roadway had reopened by 6 p.m.
