Local historian Mollie Water joined the Greenville Lions club meeting Monday to share a few interesting facts on Pioneer Cemetery in Greenville. Although the earliest graves are not marked, the cemetery has been in use since 1820 and is the final resting place of many influential citizens in Greenville’s history. Waters will host a tour of Pioneer Cemetery where the public can learn about the cemetery’s history, inhabitants, and renovations on Sunday, October 22 at 2 pm.
