Trustmark customers can now experience contactless teller services in Georgiana.

The bank announced that its MyTeller Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) was open and ready for service Thursday, allowing customers to experience face-to-face audio and visual interactions with a Trustmark teller in a safe and convenient way.

The teller will process check and cash deposits, withdrawals, transfers and loan payments. It also offers benefits like extended banking hours and is open Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

myTeller functions as a traditional automated teller machine (ATM) 24/7 banking and same-day credit for most deposits made by 9 p.m. on weeknights.

“myTeller can perform many of the same transactions as a traditional teller,” said Andy Stewart, Trustmark Market Leader in South Alabama. “We’re delighted to offer this new, convenient service that provides an additional banking option for our customers.”

Trustmark will host a myTeller awareness day to showcase the machine located at its Georgiana Branch at 412 Highway 106 West on May 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The training will allow customers to experience a myTeller lesson and also receive a treat.

Trustmark operates three branches in Butler County – one in Georgiana and two in Greenville. The Georgiana location at 412 Highway 106 West is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4: 30 p.m. and from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Friday. The branch offers a full range of services, including safe deposit boxes, money orders, foreign currency, official checks, wire transfers, a drive-thru, night deposit boxes as well as business and personal accounts and loans.
