Greenville will host the Butler County Fair starting today and ending Saturday, at the fairgrounds.

Gates open at 6 p.m. Arm bracelets will be available so the crowds can enjoy all the rides.

The price to attend is $15 today and Thursday and $20 for Friday and Saturday.

The rides, food, and entertainment will be covered by James Gang Amusements Company.

Attractions include the carousel, boats, and fun slide for the  children, and the Ferris wheel, Scrambler, and Swinger for the brave of heart.

Available food items include nachos, taco salad, soft pretzels, snow cones, and cotton candy.

The Kiwanis Club will operate a kitchen located inside the exhibit shed with hand-cut fries, Devil dogs, Polish sausages, and hamburgers.

Games include balloons to pop, red cups to shoot down, and darts to throw. Some booths offer the opportunity to win a prize on every chance.

All proceeds go to the local Kiwanis Club.
