Ashley Hall, a Luverne High School senior, has been given a track scholarship to Troy University.

“This is such a great opportunity for her,” said Joseph Suber, LHS track coach.

Luverne first launched the track team last year, which got off to a good start as Hall was named state champion in the 100 meter and 200 meter for the 2A region.

“She is very talented and we are very fortunate,” Suber said.

Bob Williams, LHS athletic director, said that she had met all of the qualifications for the scholarship.

Hall is also involved with SGA, the girls’ basketball team, captain of the cheerleading squad, was named Homecoming queen and is in excellent standing academically.
