Markita R. Cooper, 29, a resident of Greenville, Ala was born on October 28, 1992 to Mr. Jeffrey Cooper and Demetrist Warren. She departed her life on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Regional Medical Center of Central Alabama. 

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the Chapel of Carter Rice & West Funeral Home, 10 Chalet Drive, Greenville, AL starting at 12 noon with Dr. Mark Hawkins officiating. Burial to follow at Pine Flat Cemetery with Carter Rice & West Funeral Home directing. 

She was preceded in death by her loving grandparents: Charles and Betty Powell. 

She leaves to cherish her memories to three beautiful and loving daughters: Samarla, Mariah and Breanna Carter, all of Greenville, AL; two devoted parents: Jeffrey Cooper of Greenville, AL and Demetrist Warren of Pensacola, FL; a devoted stepfather: Leslie Franklin of Pensacola, FL; six sisters: Seleste (Terry Jr.) Alexia of Pensacola, FL, Santana (Jeffrey) Hasley of Georgiana, AL, Swanda (Darnell), Katrina (Ian) and Carrie (Corey); two brothers: Lester Warren of Pensacola, FL and Leslie Franklin, Jr. of Greenville, AL; three nieces: Makayla, Terryona and Tamaya; three nephews: Ka’tavian, Terry III and Lamarion; a devoted friend of 12 years: Bine Carter; two devoted aunts: Sonya Warren and Faith Hollman; one devoted uncle: Kenny Warren; two devoted cousins: Shanequoah Pettyway and Khalil Warren; and a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
