A two-vehicle accident involving an 18-wheeler recently caused a slight traffic delay on I-65. 

The accident occured in the afternoon hours of Tuesday, February 1 near the Butler County I-65 Northbound Rest Area. 

Butler County Sheriff Danny Bond says the accident occurred when the 18-wheeler and another vehicle smashed. 

It is unclear at this time whether the 18-wheeler or the other vehicle caused the accident.  

“The 18-wheeler involved in the accident was empty, and no injuries occurred following the incident,” Sheriff Bond said.
