The Fort Dale varsity boys basketball team took on the  Morgan Academy Senators for the second time on Tuesday.

Sadly, the sound of the final buzzer the Morgan beat Fort Dale 61-36.

Clay Benson led the team with ten points and one rebound.

Ethan Alford and Brady Long scored seven points.

Alford had six rebounds, three assists and three steals while Long had four rebounds and one assist.

Sawyer Fossett scored six points with two rebounds and three assists.

Grant McGriff and Jon Nolan Lawrence scored two points. McGriff had four rebounds while Lawrence had two.

Brody Stringer and Jackson Scott each scored a point for the Eagles.

Stringer also managed six rebounds throughout the game.

With the loss the Eagles sit with a 4-6 record for the season.

They will go on the road to face Pike Liberal Arts Thursday.
