The Greenville City Council approved a resolution letting the Parks and Recreation Department to enter a scoreboard agreement.
The scoreboard agreement will be will Montgomery Coca Cola.
The agreement will be for five years.
During this time the city will exclusively offer Coca Cola products at all athletic and recreational facilities.
Doing so will provide the city with services by Coca Cola.
These services include paying the cost of purchasing and installing a baseball and basketball scoreboard in 2022 up to $11,845.
Additionally, upon request, sideline support such as ten gallon coolers, cups, squeeze bottles and carriers with a retail value of $650 will be provided.
Furthermore, the council approved a resolution authorizing the acceptance of the title III Older Americans Act Grant Award for the fiscal year of 2021-22.
The grant is with the South Central Alabama Development Commission Area Agency on Aging in the amount of $28,443.
