Mr. and Mrs. John Dee Bell of Rose Hill, Alabama announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Meredith Grace Bell to Lance Henderson Powell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Powell of Greenville.

The bride elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Janice Driver and the late Mr. Ronnie Driver of Rose Hill, Ala. and Mrs. Shirley Bell and the late Mr. Earl Bell of Columbia, Miss. The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Henderson of Greenville and Mrs. Janell Powell of Fort Deposit and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold Powell of Greenville.

Ms. Bell is a 2018 graduate of Straughn High School and is employed at Regional Medical Center of Central Alabama in Greenville where she is a Sonographer.

Mr. Powell is a 2017 graduate of Fort Dale Academy and is employed at Powell Tractor Company in Greenville. The wedding is planned for 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Georgiana.
