The Luverne City Council met Feb 23.The council welcomed Mrs. Betty Dawson to her first meeting as council woman.

The board unanimously reappointed Theresa Foster to the Board of Housing Commission and Drew Money to the Board of Adjustments.

J Brice Smith Oil awarded bid for gas and fuel for the City of Luverne. The awarded bid will provide fuel for 19 cents over wholesale cost.

Charlie Johnson resolution 022221 was passed in remembrance of the former councilman and his dedication to District 1 and the city of Luverne. The resolution expressed the condolences to the family of Johnson and recognized his 16 years of service on the City Council.
