Lauren Hudson signed with LBW in Andalusia as a pitcher for the Saints. Hudson is a senior at Brantley High School. She is the daughter of Troy Hudson and Rena Hudson.

Hudson plans to attend LBW for two years then transfer to Auburn University to obtain her bachelors in biomedical science. She then plans to attend the University of Alabama in Birmingham’s school of dentistry.

Hudson was also named as a player to watch by AL.com in February. She was also chosen for the 2019 All-State Softball Team Class 1-A. She was also a member of the 2016 and 2018 state softball championship teams and selected to the Alabama all-state softball teams in 2019 and 2020.

Hudson is the captain of the cheerleading squad and plays volleyball. She was homecoming queen and BHS Campus Beauty. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, mu alpha theta, student council, key club, and FCA.
