A search warrant by the Greenville Drug Task resulted the arrest of five individuals.

The warrant occurred at a residence on Primitive Baptist Road.

Found during the search were weapons and illegal drugs.

Sent to the county jail were Bobby Connell, 51, Virginia Scott, 41, Connor McCann, 29, Christian Connell, 20, and Justice Basom, 20.

Chemical endangerment of a child and multiple drug offense are the charges.

Greenville Police Chief Justin Lovvorn commended all responding parties on the execution of the warrant.

 “I’d like to commend the Drug Task Force and  Special Response Team for keeping Butler County safe from these harmful narcotics,” he said.
