Barbershop options are expanding in Greenville.

Lowndes County native Quincy Tolliver opened his new barber shop in downtown Greenville.

Tolliver’s shop is located at 217 Bolling St.

Tolliver said he plans to be open 8-5 every day.

“I have been cutting hair for 25 years,” he said. “I worked for years at a shop in Fort Deposit.”

Tolliver has worked in Greenville cutting hair for the past four.

“I wanted to come to Greenville because it has a better population,” he said.

Tolliver said he thinks the thing that sets him apart the most from others is his attention to safety.

“Everyone knows I keep everything sanitized,” he said. “I am consistent with that and my work.”

Tolliver said he does not allow patrons in his store without a mask to help protect others and himself during the COVID-19 pandemic.

He said that he specializes in cuts and shaves.

“I can do lines and any styles,” he said.
