Tom was a husband who dearly loved his wife of 54 years, they were one. He set an example to his boys on how to love their wives, they watched him and their mother hold hands while walking, their dancing, their hugs, and kisses. He taught his sons to work hard, to touch people’s lives in a positive way any chance they had, and to love one another. He and JoAnn always kept an open home for their son’s friends to feel comfortable and drop by at any time. He grew the family closer together and taught us love, compassion, and still gave us so much laughter.

Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Peavy Wingard, three sons; Christopher (Linda) Wingard, Thomas (Wendy) Wingard and Paul Kevin (Melissa) Wingard, five sisters; Sarah Wingard Thomas, Mary Wingard Langham, Carolyn Wingard Beasley, Virginia Wingard Bennett, and Connie Wingard Peavy, two brothers; Don Wingard and, Frank Wingard, grandchildren; Courtney Wingard, David Wingard, Carl Wingard, Morgan Wingard, Joseph Wingard, Kaylan Wingard, Levi Wingard, Nathan Wingard, Gavin Wingard, Morgan Evans Rogers (Christian), Sarah Evans and Will Evans.
