Locals can now purchase license plates celebrating Butler County’s own Lurleen B. Wallace Community College.
The tag is $50, and $48.75 will go directly to LBWCC’s General Scholarship Fund.
“This project has been a long time in the making,” said LBWCC Associate Dean of Institutional Advancement, Dr. Arlene Davis.
“We are excited that students, alumni, faculty and staff will now have the opportunity to show their saintly spirit by purchasing an LBWCC tag.”
LBWCC distinctive license plates may be requested through any Alabama county license commissioner or probate office or online through the Alabama Department of Revenue. The LBWCC license plate is found under the collegiate license plate category. Both standard and personalized options are available for vehicles and motorcycles.
“I invite everyone to be among the first to show your Saints pride and support our institution,” said LBWCC President, Dr. Brock Kelley.
The proceeds distributed to the LBWCC General Scholarship Fund are considered a charitable contribution. For more information or to purchase a tag, please visit the LBWCC College Foundation page at lbwcc.edu.
