The countdown is on to the Christmas holidays.
The Crenshaw County Chamber of Commerce announced this week that the annual Christmas parade will be held Thursday evening, Dec. 10.
Those who wish to participate are asked to call the Crenshaw County Chamber office at 334-335-4468 to register your entry for the parade.
Parade lineup will begin at the Old Armory on 6th Street and Franklin at 4:30 p.m.
The parade will begin at 6 p.m.
The Chamber welcomes floats, walking groups, cars, fire engines, motorcycles, beauty queen cars and horses.
Crenshaw County Chamber of Commerce President Don Nix said the Chamber is excited about having the parade after a year full of events being canceled due to COVID-19, especially since it’s a Crenshaw County tradition.
“This is such a fun event for everyone countywide,” he said. “Crenshaw County has so many wonderful traditions and our Christmas parade is one of those.”
