Another week, another dominating win by the Brantley Bulldogs football team.
Brantley took care of the Samson Tigers this past week in a 50-0 win, which would be the Bulldogs fourth shutout of the season.
The action started quickly in the first quarter as Brantley QB Tucker Kilcrease found Daquan Pittman for a 26-yard touchdown pass.
And the action wouldn’t stop there.
In the opening quarter, Kilcrease also found Kenuwyn Dixon for a 22-yard touchdown pass, increasing the bulldogs lead to 17-0.
After a forced fumble by the Brantley, Kilcrease connected with Dixon yet again for a 16-yard touchdown pass with three minutes still left in the first quarter.
Dixon would strike again, this time on the defensive side of the ball. The electric playmaker would force a fumble and return it 31 yards for a touchdown – putting Brantley up 31-0 in the first half. The Bulldogs would never look back on the way to a 50-0 victory.
Tucker Kilcrease finished the game with 189 pass yards, 3 touchdowns and 1 interception. Dixon would finish with four receptions for 52 yards and two touchdowns. Dixon was named player of the game.
Brantley (6-0) now prepares for an away game against Georgiana this week.
