The Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Fall Supper Oct. 18 at the Greenville-Butler County Public Library’s Camellia Pavilion.
“This year’s Fall Supper is shaping up to be a great event,” said Tracy Salter, executive director of the GACOC. “Guests can expect to enjoy some great food and live entertainment.”
The menu will be a low country boil style feast catered by Greenville’s newest restaurant, Plow & Anchor. The menu will include a shrimp boil with potatoes, corn and sausage, a tasty chicken and sausage combo with rice, a light and refreshing caviar dip and chips, and banana pudding. Guests can also expect an evening of great entertainment as local artists Rosie Till and Curk Mosley of Two of a Kind deliver a smooth acoustic sound featuring music of all genres.
The GACOC director said in addition to food and entertainment, guests can expect some great door prizes at this year’s event.” “Thanks to some very gracious businesses, we have three main door prizes this year – a $200 gift certificate to Johnson Furniture, a flat screen television from Camellia Communications and a 35 quart Limited Edition Seafoam Yeti Cooler from Quality Co-Op. We will also have other various door prizes on hand to be given away throughout the night.”
“The Fall Supper is a wonderful opportunity to network and socialize with others within the community,” said Salter.
Attendance is limited to those 21 and over; tickets are $30 and are available from the chamber office at the Train Depot, or from any chamber board member, Salter said.
The deadline to purchase tickets is Thursday, Oct. 11 by 4 p.m. “If located in Greenville, the chamber will even deliver tickets to your business or office.”
Salter said that the event is open to anyone in the community regardless of whether or not they are chamber members.
“It’s a chamber event, but it’s not limited to members. We invite everyone to come out and enjoy the evening.”
