The McKenzie Tigers fell to rival Georgiana 55-0 last week at home. They will look to rebound against the Pleasant Home Eagles at home on Friday.
McKenzie is looking for its first win of the season going into to Week 4. The Tigers came close to knocking off Red Level in Week 2, but lost 12-6. A win against Pleasant Home would give the Tigers a 1-2 record in Class 1A, Region 2.
McKenzie leads the all-time record against Pleasant Home with a record of 10-4. Last year, the Tigers defeated Pleasant Home 47-46 in an overtime thriller. The Eagles haven’t defeated McKenzie since 2011.
Kick off is set for 7 p.m. inside Williams-Vickery Stadium on the campus of McKenzie School.
