A spook-tacular holiday event geared to the BCSS’s Greenville campus’s elementary students is in the works, and organizers are looking for support from parents and local businesses.
“We are planning a 100 percent parent/donor sponsored ‘Trunk or Treat’ for our Bright Beginnings, W.O. Parmer and Greenville Elementary School students,” said Noel Seale, one of the event planners.
The event will be in late October (exact date and time TBD) in front of W.O. Parmer, with parking available in the Tiger Stadium parking lot. Flyers will be sent home to pre-sale event tickets, Seale says.
“Candy donations are needed and much appreciated. Businesses are also welcome to set up trunks, or we can add their names to our donor board we will have displayed to recognize and thank them for their donations. We want to make this a fun Halloween event for our students and their families.”
