Mrs. Jacqueline Denise Tyson, 56, a resident of Greenville, Ala., passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018 starting at noon at Perfecting Holiness Church with Carter Rice & West Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery.

Jacqueline was born on Oct. 2, 1961 to the late Mr. John Henry Allen and Allie Mae Allen.

She confessed life at an early age at the Damascus Baptist Church, where she remained faithful until her death.

She was proceeded in death by her husband: Thoris Tyson; her son, Maurice Tyson; two sisters: Dorothy Fair & Annie Allen; two brothers: Willie B. McDowell & Kenneth Allen.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her son, Thorice Tyson of Montgomery Ala.; her daughter, Sharice Tyson of Greenville, Ala.; six grandchildren: Miesha Tyson, Tyesha Tyson, Markel Tyson, Shondarias Powell, Javon Tyson, & Mauriah Tyson; one great granddaughter, Ja’Riyah Tyson; three sisters: Janice Bullock, Michelle (Sammie) Williamson and Veronica (Wayne) Cheatham; two brothers: John Frank (Mary) Allen and Sam Allen, all of Greenville Ala.; sisters-in-law: Betty McDowell of Detroit, Mich., and Gwendolyn Tyson and Jewel Tyson both of Greenville, Ala.; brother-in-law Mike (Bettie) McCarty Tyson of Greenville, Ala., and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
