The Greenville-Butler Co. Public Library has an active summer planned of programming and special events, said Library Director Kevin Pearcey.
“We’re really, really excited about this summer,” said Pearcey. “Last year, of course, we were shut down for much of the summer due to renovations, so this year it’s great to be able to get back in the swing of things and offer Butler County citizens free programming and some fun events that all can enjoy.”
The Library will kick off its summer schedule on Monday, June 5 at 2 p.m. with renowned entertainer and children’s performer Tommy Johns. Johns, said Pearcey, is bringing his innovative and entertaining new summer program, “Build a Better Story,” to Greenville for the first time.
