Greenville Parks and Recreation baseball, softball, tee-ball registration set for Feb. 1 – Feb. 17

Greenville Parks and Recreation has opened registration for their 2017 baseball, softball and tee-ball programs.
Open today through Feb. 17, those interested can visit Beeland Park Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. or Dunbar Recreation Center from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. to register.
Registration fees are $35 for the first child, and $25 for subsequent children.
A $20 late fee will be applied after Feb. 20.
The cutoff date for determining age in the 4 and 5-year-old tee-ball leagues is Aug. 31, 2017, and April 30, 2017 for the 6-year-old division.
For the various baseball leagues (Mite, Dixie Minors, Dixie Youth and Dixie Boys) the players’ age will be determined as of April 30, 2017.
For the five softball leagues (Dixie Sweetees, Dixie Darlings, Dixie Angels, Dixie Ponytails and Dixie Belles/Debs), the age is determined as of Dec. 31, 2016.
